Chapter 1
"Betrayal"
It is beautiful sunny day out. While at the Honky Tonk Cafe Ban and Ginji, sit at the counter and talk of their next job. When all of a sudden they hear the bell ring on the door and a young lady comes running in crying.
"Please she cries you have to hide me, Please do not let them find me, you have to help me, please...I beg of you."
"What is going on," Paul asks, "Who are you running from."
She looks at the young man behind the counter "I do not have time to explain," walking to the front window and looking out...
"Please I need somewhere to hide there is not much time" she says, "They will be coming this way soon to look for me. I am not running from the law that is all I can tell you... Please I need your help." Tears streaming down her face, "If they find me they will kill me... Please Help Me."
Ban stands up and looks at Paul, "Your call dude if they find her hiding here they might kill you as well."
"BAN!" Ginji says, "We have to help her she is in trouble."
"Then she needs to go to the police, not come in here looking for help." Ban says.
The young lady walks back over to the window and looks out again, and saying "I have... they have killed two police officers so far that I have talked to, to keep them quite as well."
Paul lays the newspaper down on the counter... "These two officers I take are the ones you are talking about then."
Ban and Ginji look at the front-page story in the paper it read 'Two Officers Shot and Killed Yesterday' Officials believe, Mob is Involved...
Paul looks over at the young lady, she is still looking out the window.
"Their Coming!" As she moves away from the window quickly... "PLEASE can you help me..."
Paul walks from around the counter, "Follow me," Paul says to her and he takes her into the backroom. Paul walks over to some boxes up against the wall and pushes on them reveling a room behind them,
"You can hide in here until their gone; they will never find you in here." Paul says.
"Thank You" she tells him and walks into the room as Paul pushes the boxes back into place,
"I will come, and get you when I think it is clear for you to come out."
"Thank You" she says again as the wall on her side slides completely closed. She turns to look at the room, she sees a desk and chair, with a PC sitting on the desk and four Super Computer Towers around it...
"Who is this guy" she says.
Paul walks out form the backroom just as the two men that are looking for the girl walk through the door. The two men start looking around the Cafe Paul looking at them asks,
"Can I help you gentlemen."
"Have you seen a girl come in here about 5'6 or so, in her mid-twenties, long brown hair, thin build, and wearing a black jean jacket and black jeans."
Ban looks at them saying "NOPE, it has been us three in here all afternoon, you are the first people we've seen this morning since about 10 o'clock or so."
They one guy looks at Ban and Ginji, "You have seen no one."
"No, but if a girl comes in here looking like that we will be sure to tell her you are looking for her," Ginji tells him.
"What is your name by the way, so we can let her know you were here for her..."
"Do not worry about it," he says to Ginji in a stern voice, "She cannot be too far we will find her."
"Well Have a Good Day," Paul tells them as they turn to walk out the door.
"Man those were some BIG dudes to be sending out after one little girl," Ginji says.
"Yeah, that is what I was thinking," Paul and Ban say.
"So did you hide her in your computer room," Ban said
"Yep, sure did, I know if they got to looking too good in here they would find her any place else, that was the safest place for her," Paul tells him as he picks up the newspaper again.
"Well you can go get her now that they are gone," Ginji says.
"No, I think I will leave her back there for a little while to be safe." They are serious about finding her, and right now with the way things look, they are not the only ones looking for her,"
As Paul lays the newspaper down on the counter showing a picture of the young lady that they are hiding, the article reading
'The Police are looking for this young women. If anyone has seen her, please call the Police Department "Immediately" for her safety, Miss. Yuuka Shimizu is a witness to a crime and believed to be in extreme danger.'
"What the hell is going on here," Ban says.
"That is a good question Ban," Paul says "And as soon as it is safe to bring her out, we will ask Miss. Yuuka Shimizu that exacted question."
After a few hours have passed, Paul goes to the backroom to get the young lady. He slides the boxes to find her, curled up in the corner of the room sleeping. He walks over to her, touching her, says "Hey wake up,"
She jumps to his touch, and sits up. "Huh...what..." she says, "Are they gone."
Paul looks at her "Yes I would say they are gone it has been 3 hours and they have not came back in looking for you. So I think they have moved on to some place else to find you." Paul says. "Come on lets get you out of here and some place warm, your like ice from being back here."
As Paul helps her stand, she looks at him and smiles "I guess I owe you an explanation of what is going on huh... Thank You so Much for your help" she tells him.
He smiles back at her saying, "Well that would be nice if you would tell me why I put my life on the line for you for."
As they walk out of the backroom, Ban and Ginji are sitting at the counter with two other guy's sitting beside them.
"Hey," one of the guys say, "Your that girl that was in the newspaper, I hear that there are a lot of people looking for you."
She stops, "Their all right, they are friend of ours" Paul says to her as he gives her a seat at a table.
"So Yuuka, tell us why those men and the police want you so badly," Ban says.
She looks at all of them sitting at the counter from her table,
"I do not think it would be a good idea for me to tell all of you why I am here, it could put you all in danger as well." She says,
"Just telling one of you is bad enough and if they find out, I told someone else, they will come to kill you as well."
Ginji walks over to the table and sits down across from her and saying, "We will be fine, you do not have to worry about us."
"What you tell us, is like keeping it to yourself; none of us will tell anyone what you have to say," Paul says as he sets down a cup of hot tea for her and taking a seat on the other side of the table with Ginji.
She looks around the Cafe at the strangers faces, "Who are you guy's?" She asks them.
Ginji looks at her and smiles, "I am Ginji and this is my partner Ban..."
"I am Paul and those two there are Kazuki and Juubei."
She smiles at them saying "I am Yuuka; it is nice to meet you all."
"All right then" Ban chimes in, "Now that the introduction is over tells us. Why are you hiding from everyone, you got people that want to kill you and the police trying to protect you and you are hiding from both." Ban says.
"The newspaper says you are a witness to a crime is that true Yuuka," Ginji says.
"Yes, it is" Yuuka says as she hangs her head and a tear falls into her tea.
"Yuuka..." Ginji says as he moves to the other side of the table sitting next to her and putting his arm around her, "It is ok, if you tell us, what is going on then we can help you."
"I do not know if you can Ginji, everyone that has tried to help me has ended up dead," Yuuka tells him.
Kazuki walks over to the table and sits across from her were Ginji was sitting. Kazuki reaches across the table and takes Yuukas' hand, "You would be amazed at what we can do" he tells her,
"No one has been able to kill us yet... and it's not like people have not tried before," Ban says with a laugh.
Yuuka looks up from the table seeing a smile on all their faces.
"It is worth a try Yuuka, tell us and we can help you out of the mess" Paul tells her.
She looks at Paul... "I guess I have to get help from somewhere; the police cannot seem to do it," looking around the room again at the guy's Yuuka says, "All right I will tell you what happened."
As the guy's sit there listening to Yuukas story not making a sound or asking any questions. She went on to tell the story of why her life was in danger and why not only these men were looking for her, but the police as well. Paul got up and made her another cup of tea, as Yuuka removed her jacket and started her story of Betrayal.
"It started about 8 years ago when my Mother married Yokimura Shimizu, a well know mobster in this area. I was only 16 when they married, so I really did not pay attention to what was going on in the house or in their lives or did I really care, I was a teenage girl that was more interested in boys then my Mother and Step Father. As I grew older, one of the men that my Step Grandfather had working for him caught my eye and I of course caught his, so we started dating, as the years went on he started telling me things that he does and did for my Step Father and Grandfather. I could not believe what he was telling me how could he do these things, how could anyone do these things. I thought he was messing with me, so I started to pay closer attention to things going on around the house and phone calls that came in. I started to notice things that were happening that should not have been and realized Jin was not lying to me about what he was telling me. I ask my Mother about it, she knew everything; I was in total shock that she married this man, a killer, and drug ringleader. I told my Mother I was moving out and she would never see me set foot in this house again, if she wanted to live like this then that was her choice, but I refused to live a life of crime. So I moved out and into a place of my own. Jin and I still seen one another from time to time, but I wanted a clean break from all of it, so I told him that. He became very up set with it all, and told me he loved me and he would not leave me and if the only way he could be with me was to walk away he would do it as well. So he went a told my Step Grandfather he wanted nothing more to with the Shimizu Family Business and he wanted out. Grandfather was shocked, and asks him why, Jin told him. My Grandfather told him he was free to go, Jin reassured him that he would never let his past out and no one would ever know of the Shimizu Family Business. They shook hands and parted ways forever.
Jin moved in with me about a week after that and he got a real job. Things were great for almost a year, and then my Step Fathers men started to show up at our door. They needed Jin to do a job, he told them to get someone else to do it he was out of that line of work never to return to it. After about three or four times of seeing them, we saw my Step Father and Grandfather at our door. Jin told them the same thing and said,
'You told me you would leave me alone.'
My Grandfather told him 'You were never out of the family business once your in your in, at least until your dead.'
Jin told them to leave and never return to our home he was not doing the job for them and he will never pick up a gun again. He was happy with his life now and wanted it to stay the way it was he did not want to return to all the nightmares like before. My Step Father and Grandfather were not happy at the least, but they left. About a week later Jin and I went to dinner and then for a walk in the Park. Jin started to act a little strange while we were walking; I ask him what was wrong. He looked at me and told me to Go, he pushed me away just as I seen one of my Step Grandfathers men step out from behind a tree and then two more from around the fountain, I was backing away from Jin. When he screamed,
'GO NOW, RUN AND DO NOT LOOK BACK... RUN.'
I could not; I froze until I saw Jin fall to the ground and blood soaking his white shirt. I screamed Jin's name running to him. One of my Grandfathers men grabbed me and told me,
'Go home, and forget everything you just saw here or you will meet with the same fate as Jin.'
I slapped him calling him a Bastard and told him I would see every one of them burn for killing Jin and ran off. I heard one of the men say,
'Don't shoot her the old man will kill you himself.'
'But she is going to the police!'
The one that grabbed me said, Let the old man take care of her we did our job. I went to the police and told two officers the story; they went to the park and found Jin. I do not know how my Father found out which two officers I talked too, but he did. I was under their custody at my home until my Step Fathers men killed the two officer's right in front of me. They did not try to shoot me, but told me I was to go with them my Step Father wanted a word with me. I followed them outside and got into my car and started it, as they were climbing in the car I speed off, and I have been on the run ever since."

"Dirty Cops..."
"Huh," Yuuka said looking at Ban.
"Dirty Cops that is how your Step Father found out which two officers you spoke with. Your Step Grandfather has cops on his pay roll; I am in no doubt that is how he found out." Ban said.
"So even if I was to go back to the police..."
"They might kill you as well or take you to your Step Father," Kazuki says.
Yuuka puts her hand to her head and closes her eyes saying, "What am I going to do... I cannot run for the rest of my life and I have nowhere to go to hide. Maybe I should go back and talk to my Step Fa..."
"NO!!" They all yell at Yuuka making her jump.
"What... What else am I to do then, I have nowhere to go and no one that can help me bring them to justice." She tells them.
"Just give us a little while to think of something, we will help you," Ban says to her.
Ginji looks at Yuuka, "Yes we will and when we are done with them..."
"You will never see them again," Juubei says.
"But you guys..."
As Paul cuts her off this time, "I know someone that can help us, and I know for a fact that he is clean."
"Are you sure Paul," Yuuka says to him.
"If he is talking about who I think he is talking about, yes he is clean and he will bring your Step Father and Grandfather to justice along with the rest of them involved," Ban says.
"I hope your right," Yuuka says as she gets up from the table.
"Where are you going Yuuka," Ginji asks her.
"To the restroom," as she looks at Paul, "Where might I find it" she asks.
"Right around the wall there," as he points in the direction she needs to go.
"Thank you, I will be right back" Yuuka tells them.
As she walks into the restroom, she hears Juubei say,
"All right now what."
Ginji looks up at Ban still sitting at the counter, "This is going to be a tuff one Ban," as he is looking at Ban, Ginji's eyes drift looking out the front window, "And we got company coming."
They all turn to see the same two guy's coming back over to the Honky Tonk Cafe
"GREAT!" Paul says, "They looked pissed."
"Yuuka is the bathroom," Kazuki says, "Someone has to stop her from coming out."
He gets up walking to the bathroom, Kazuki just steps around the wall, the two guy's walk in the door.
"Hello gentlemen, where you able to find the young lady you where looking for," Paul asks them.
"No" the one said, "But we where told that she was seen coming in here."
"Well that is not so there have been no girls in here, at all today," Ginji says.
"Yeah, well that is not what we were told, and if she was not here then what is that black jean jacket hanging on the back of the chair."
They all look at the chair just as Kazuki walks out of the bathroom.
"That is my black jean jacket, why do you ask," Kazuki says to the men.
"We were told a young lady came in here today," the one big guy said.
"Really what does she look like" Kazuki said.
"She is 5'6 or so, in her mid-twenties, long brown hair, thin build, and wearing a black jean jacket and black jeans."
Ban laughs walking over to Kazuki and putting his arm around him, "Well guy's sorry to disappoint you, but the only person in here that fits that description is Kazuki" as he pats Kazuki on the chest.
"Hey," Kazuki says, "I am not a female."
"No but you look like one" Ban says.
Kazuki lifts his arm placing his hand on the back of his head and laughing saying. "I guess your right Ban, if someone was looking for someone that looks like what they just described I could see were they could get confuses when seeing me, I mean I look just like that, it is just... I am not a girl," as Kazuki stares at the men.
"We where told she came in here" one of them said in an angry voice.
"WELL YOU WHERE TOLD WRONG!" Ginji says as he stands up from his seat and walking toward them.
Juubei steps between Ginji and the men facing the men, saying, "Look guy's there is no reason to get all pissy about it, there are no females in here anywhere. If it will make you feel better look around you will see we are not lying to you."
As the one guy starts to look around the Cafe Paul gets up with Yuuka's cup to place it behind the counter. He looks at Kazuki and Ban still standing there in the middle of the Cafe the one bigger guy walks over to where the bathroom is located and starts to look around the corner. Paul sees this and drops the teacup making everyone jump, making the one big guy stop what he was doing and come back to the center of the Cafe...
"Shit!" Paul says, "Sorry I got the dropies today did not mean to frighten you all."
"Come on! She is not here, they seen this guy and thought it was her, she is probably not even around this area any longer as long as it has been," said the big guy. "If I find out any of you were lying to me, I will be back for you," he adds.
"Looking forward to it sunshine," Ban says to him.
Both of them walk out of the Honky Tonk in a huff. Juubei watches them climb into a car a drive off down the street.
"Sunshine!" Paul says to Ban, and they all start to laugh.
Yuuka comes out of the bathroom, but not into sight saying,
"Are they gone... can I come out now."
"Yeah, it is clear for you to come out," Juubei says to her.
"So Step Father sent two of his best out to find me, good thing you did not piss Sano off any more then you did Ginji," Yuuka said "He would just as soon shoot you then looked at you."
"Sano huh," Kazuki says "That is the big guys name."
"What of the other one," Ginji asks.
"Ken is not so bad, but still a killer, it takes more then just a few words to get him to kill you," Yuuka says.
"Well it is not going to be safe for you here any longer if people where telling them they seen you come in here," Juubei says.
"No I guess not, I will have to find some place else to hide out for now." Yuuka says.
"Nevertheless, where will you go Yuuka," Ginji said to her.
She looks at Ginji.
"I got it, get your things, I will go get the car... do not come out until you see the car pull up," Ban says to Yuuka and Ginji.
"Ok, Ban but where are we going Ginji says?"
"You will see, and she will be as safe as safe can be there as well, with all those beast around, they wont dare set foot on that ground."
Ginji and Kazuki look at each other and smile saying "Shido."
When morning came, Yuuka finds herself at Miss. Monica and Shido's House. She looks out the window seeing Shido outside with a number of animals around him. She could not believe what she learned about Shido last night and how he can speak with the animals. Lost in thought still looking out the window, Yuuka is startled as Miss. Monica's servant walks in her room to see if she was up and ready for breakfast.
"Don't you people knock around here..." she tells the young lady that walks into her room.
"Sorry Ma'am I did knock and no one answered so I thought you might still be in bed," the young lady said.
"No, I am not in bed still, thank you," Yuuka, barks at her.
"I am sorry Ma'am I just wanted to let you know that breakfast was prepared, and to let you know Miss. Monica wanted you to join her." The young lady said.
"Yes Thank You, you can go now," Yuuka says to her.
"Yes Ma'am," the young lady says and leaves her room.
Yuuka goes to take a shower and clean up for the day. As she is walking out of her room, she hears Ginji and Kazuki's voice downstairs talking to Shido.

"So what did you find out last night Ginji," Shido asks him.
"Not a lot sorry to say," Ginji says.
"The security on her Step Fathers house is tight," Kazuki adds.
"So where is Snake for Brains..." Shido asks.
"Ban is still at Yuukas Step Fathers staking the place out," Ginji tells him.
"What are you guys planning on doing once you get into the place," Shido asks.
"Well if we can get the place bugged and the phone taped, we are hoping to get some information on the killing of Yuukas boyfriend," Ginji tells him.
"How do you plane on using it, if Yuukas Step Father as bought off the police department, it is not going to do you any good," Shido tells him.
Ginji laughs, "Well now that's where Judge Nakamura comes in," Kazuki says.
"That's Paul's friend right," Yuuka says to them as she walks into the room. They all three turn to look at her,
"Yes." Ginji says to Yuuka.
"And are you sure he can bring my Step Father, Grandfather and their men to justices," Yuuka says.
"I am positive Yuuka," Ginji says.
"Only fools are positive Ginji," Yuuka says to him.
"I know for a fact that Judge Nakamura can bring them all to justices," Ban says.
They all turn to see Ban standing in the doorway of the room.
"When did you get here Snake for Brains," Shido says.
"I just walked in as Yuuka was telling Ginji he was a fool," Ban says.
"Ban why did you leave The Shimizu mansion," Ginji says.
"I found a way in, but we have to move tonight," Ban says,
"Tonight! So soon," Kazuki says.
"Yes tonight, once we are in with the four of us we should be able to bug the whole house and get the old mans phones tapped, and out of there before anyone even knows we were there," Ban tells them.
"Four don't you mean five," Shido says.
Ban laughs, "So you want part of the action to Huh, Monkey Boy," Ban says to Shido.
"You really think I was going to stand idly by and let you botch things up," Shido says to Ban.
"Botch!" Ban yells at Shido, "I'll show you botch, Monkey Boy."
"Stop it you two, fighting amongst yourselves is not going to get the job done," Yuuka tells Ban and Shido, "If you do not work as a team, my Step Father's men will kill you as well,"
Yuuka adds. "My Step Fathers men have known one another for years their like family; they know what the other one is thinking before they even think it. One slip from any of you and they will know you are there and that will be the end of you, you will not make it off the grounds. They will kill all of you." Yuuka tells them.
"Yuukas right, if we are going to do this and come out alive, we are going to have to work together, and that means you two as well," Kazuki says looking at Ban and Shido.
"All right." Ban and Shido says.
"So what do you want to do Ban," Shido says.
"Well, now that you ask we need to get everyone together later and go over the floor planes, map out who is doing what and where they are doing it." Ban tells them. "Once we get that under way we can make our move, we will only have about an hour to get inside and get things set up, once they all leave." Ban says.
"Leave... leave to where?" Yuuka asks.
"Big Birthday party, is what I heard one of the men say I think you said his name was Sano," Ban says.
"Birthday party... Grandfathers 65th birthday," Yuuka says.
"Yeah that was it," Ban says. "They will all be there, orders by your Step Father, is what Sano told the other guy," Ban said.
"But there only going to be there for the first hour of the party and then back to the house is what he said," Ban told Yuuka.
"You're sure you can pull this off Ban?" Yuuka asks.
"I have no doubts in my mind," Ban says with a smile. "The party starts at 8pm so I take it they will be leaving the place at around 7:30-7:45pm, we will get the guys together at 5. Here at your place Shido, go over the plans; we will get to The Shimizu mansion at about 8pm, get in and out of there with all bugs and taps set." Ban says to them.
"I hope your right Ban, for everyone's sake, I hope your right," Yuuka tells him.
